Web Application and SaaS Development

A web application is the fastest way to put a system in front of everyone who needs it: staff in the office, partners outside the company, and customers on any device, with no installation and no version drift.

We build web applications that behave like products rather than prototypes — permissions that hold, data that reconciles, pages that stay fast as records pile up, and an architecture that survives its second and third year.

For SaaS products we add the pieces founders often discover too late: tenant isolation, subscription and licence states, usage metering, onboarding flows, and admin tooling.

Types of Web Applications We Build

Operational dashboards and command centers

Real-time monitoring, control actions, and role-scoped views for teams that run daily operations across several locations or devices.

Customer and partner portals

Self-service portals for orders, documents, tickets, and account data, with an approval flow and full history behind every action.

Multi-tenant SaaS platforms

Tenant isolation at the database level, plan and licence management, usage metering, and per-tenant audit logs — the foundation of a product you can sell repeatedly.

Internal line-of-business systems

Systems that replace fragile spreadsheets: procurement, inventory, project tracking, quality control, and everything else the packaged market never quite fits.

Performance, Security, and Reliability

Applications are server-rendered where it matters for speed and SEO, images are optimised and lazy-loaded, and queries are indexed for the volumes you expect in three years, not three months. Security work covers row-level security, least-privilege API keys, signed webhooks, rate limiting, and dependency scanning. Every deployment runs through CI with automated checks, and production is monitored with error reporting and uptime alerts.

Technology We Use

React, TypeScript, and Tailwind on the client; PostgreSQL with row-level security, edge server functions, realtime subscriptions, and object storage on the back end; automated CI/CD with preview environments for every change. Payment, email, and AI providers are integrated through governed server-side gateways rather than exposed to the browser.

How We Work

Every project runs through the same five stages, so you always know where the work stands and what you receive at each step.

1. Discovery and requirements analysis

We map your business processes, user roles, the data that flows between them, and the legacy systems that must stay alive. The output is an agreed requirements document with a prioritised module list.

2. Architecture and interface design

Database schema, permission model, integration flows, and screen designs come first. Prototypes are validated with key users so big changes happen while they are still cheap.

3. Incremental development per module

Work runs in short sprints. Each sprint produces a version your team can genuinely try in a test environment — not a progress percentage on a slide.

4. Testing, security, and UAT

Functional testing, load testing, permission review, and User Acceptance Testing with real users. Findings are fixed before the system is declared production ready.

5. Deployment, training, and maintenance

Production release, data migration, user training, documentation, monitoring, plus maintenance and continued development packages sized to your company.

Where We Deliver

Nagatama serves companies across Indonesia — Greater Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Makassar, and Medan — and works with clients in Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. Collaboration is remote-first with scheduled online meetings, a demo every sprint, and on-site visits for projects that need field observation such as warehouses, plants, or branch offices. English is a working language for documentation, meetings, and delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to build a web application?

A focused internal application or MVP is typically live in four to ten weeks. Larger platforms are released module by module so value arrives before the whole suite is finished.

Can the application work on mobile devices?

Yes. Everything we build is responsive, and we can package it as an installable progressive web app so field teams get an app-like experience without an app store release.

Do you build SaaS products with subscriptions?

Yes. We implement tenant isolation, plan and licence states, usage limits, and gateway integration. For Indonesian merchants we typically use a local payment gateway rather than a card-only provider.

Can you integrate with our existing systems?

Yes — accounting software, ERPs, attendance devices, marketplaces, or partner APIs. Integrations are signed, idempotent, and retry-safe so a failed delivery never corrupts data.

Where is the application hosted?

By default on managed cloud infrastructure with automated backups. If your policy requires local or on-premise hosting, we deploy there and hand over the operational runbook.
